I haven't stopped painting although I did stop posting for a while. But, now I'm back!
Here is a few photos of my latest large oil painting. It took a long time to complete, but it's finally finished and hung in it's new home. Each color was applied in heavy lush paint strokes, as you can see in the close-up photos below. The view overlooks the East Traverse Bay, part of the Great Lakes, in Elk Rapids. I really liked working on this large canvas. The sand flowers and the boardwalk were great fun to paint!
